When setting pitch error compensation function, if only set "Pitch Error Table" and backlash value, then no need to consider axis to be positive or negative; but if "Pitch Error Table" and "Reverse Pitch Error Table" have both been set, then you need to consider positive feed and negative feed (positive feed compensation value "Pitch Error Table", negative compensation setting is "Reverse Pitch Error Table").

2.

When "Pitch Error Table" and "Reverse Pitch Error Table" are both been set, advice backlash setting to be zero; but if the backlash setting is not zero, CNC controller will consider backlash's size, to make final compensation.

If "Pitch Error Table" and "Reverse Pitch Error Table" both are set, actual measurement is as below.

(A)

Not added to backlash value (backlash value is 0), positive feed and negative feed give compensation error, to be the same.

(B)

Added compensation backlash value (backlash value set is 1 μm), forward compensation receive error not change, but negative feed's error will be smaller than 1 μm.

3.

"Reverse Pitch Error Table" decrease due to screw difference and backlashed cause error, when each screw's backlash have error not subject to the rule, it will have a better effect.
