3.16 USB Function
Normally CNC program is to save in the solid flash memory of CNC controller. Using FTP communication protocol can allow external CNC program been transmitted and executed. But because the size of the program might exceed the memory of the CNC controller, it is recommended to use USB flash memory disk to extend the memory.
Most CNC controller is installed in electrical control box, user should not plug in and pull out USB flash memory disk frequently, to ensure the stability of USB flash memory disk as an extension of the memory, it is recommended to have USB flash memory disk place upon a USB slot. User can use FTP transmitting method, to transmit external CNC file to the USB, then executing the file.
- Be aware of the following while conducting USB flash memory disk:

USB flash memory disk must be in FAT32 format, first input the USB into the computer, after the computer screen show the device can be used, do the following: |

Within the picture of USB flash memory disk press the right key, click「format」. |
(2) |
Open「format unload disk」dialog box, select file system「FAT32」. |

USB plug's power supply is limit, additional power supplier might be needed sometimes. |

File name need to be ".CNC" as extend, file name can be English letter, number, - and _ , example: TEST_123.CNC. |

CNC controller has two USB slots, but only choose one input for USB flash memory disk. |

Use FTP transmitting the file to USB, must enter name and password as the table below: |

When user is using USB account for FTP file transmitting, if USB flash memory disk does not exist, the system would show "Open Error" warning, dialog box. When FTP is connecting avoid removing USB flash memory disk or it will cause file transmitting error.

After file transmit press "F2→File→Open" it would show "Open a File" dialog box, as shown below. |
After Selecting the File, It Will Show Whether the USB Disk Exists
When USB flash memory disk exist, 
will appear, press the F3 key it will initiate USB flash memory disk's CNC program.

Also "F2→File→Save As", "F2→File→Delete File", "F2→File→DNC", can also use F3 to switch between CNC controller's internal memory and USB flash memory disk.
