5.1.3 Machine Types


The five-axis real-time coordinate conversion function of the INCON-M86R supports three types, each of which includes two mechanical models, so a total of six mechanical models can be supported, as described below:


  • Form 0, the workpiece rotation is clamped by the rotation mechanism of B (A) and C axis.


Type 0


  • Form 1, the C axis is the rotary axis and holds the workpiece, while the B (A) axis is the tilt axis and holds the tool.


Type 1


  • Form 2, the tool rotation is held by the rotation mechanism of B (A) and C axis.
