3.2.1.3 Inverse Homing

When the CNC controller leaves the factory, the home would be positive zero. When axis execution is zero, the axis movement would move in the positive direction until it arrive to the home reference point (when leaven the factory it is positive limit), afterwards enter the secondary homing procedure. When inverse homing is selected. Returning to home would be conducted at inverse direction until it reaches the axis negative limit and then return to home. Afterwards enter the secondary homing procedure. When using this function, relevant limit must be install at the right direction and is working properly.

For example:

  • "Inverse Homing" without tick: Positive homing positive limit switch must be functioning properly and must be install at axis positive direction.
  • "Inverse Homing" with tick: Negative homing, negative limit switch must be functioning properly and must be install at axis negative direction.
