3.2.2 Acceleration (Unit: 10 msec)
In relation to G00 JOG movement, INCON-M84/M86/M86R use linear acceleration. This value is the time requires for system accelerate from 0 to 6000 mm/min, the parameter unit is 10 ms. For example, if the acceleration setting is 10, then 10 × 10 ms = 100 ms requires to reach 6000 mm/min.
Acceleration
As the example above, acceleration response is 6000 mm/min = 100 mm/s
Acceleration A = speed/time= 100(mm/s)/100(ms)
=100(mm/s)/0.1(s)
=1000(mm/s2)
According to the formula F = M × A ( F: Force, M: Mass, A: Acceleration)
To know: If force is set, mass is set then acceleration setting must be determine by machine status.
Please be aware: Axis acceleration parameter is use by rapid movement accelerate and decelerate, it is not acceleration, while cutting. Acceleration while cutting is determine within Motion and Speed.
