3.2.8 Max Lag Error (Unit: DU)


This is servo position loop for the max lag error. The detector would show error as DU. If the lag error is largest then the parameter, system would alarm. The "Max Lag Error" formula is:

Following error = feed gain (μm/s) /loop gain × 1 μm correspond DU


For example: Feed gain is 12000 mm/min, loop gain 30/s, system unit is μm, or 1 μm= 4 DU, the following error is = (12000 × 1000/60) /30 × 4 26667(μm)


When calculation find the max lag error is larger than the CNC controller parameter setting (0~65535), must use the following setting method:

Maximum following error setting = calculate the max following error/100 + 60000


For example: Calculate the largest following error is 120000

The axis parameter max following error setting is 120000/100 + 60000 = 61200
